Shawn Johnson Stalker is Robert O’Ryan

Olympic gymnasts and Dancing with the Stars contestant Shawn Johnson, 17, has been granted a temporary restraining order against her alleged stalker Robert O’Ryan. He was arrested on Monday night when police discovered that he was trying to gain entry into a closed set taping of the CBS reality show.
O’Ryan, 34, has been charged with illegal possession of a firearm and remains behind bars on $35,000 bond. Police found in his possession: two loaded guns, duct tape, love letter to Johnson and fan memorabilia. The Johnson family have been aware of O’Ryan’s growing obsession with the athlete.
According to Shawn’s mother, who initiated the restraining order, O’Ryan told arresting officers that he left Florida permanently because he believes Shawn is “speaking to him personally through the television and via ESP and he will be with her no matter what.”
The Los Angeles Police Department and the L.A. District Attorney’s Office are continuing their investigation. Robert O’Ryan’s initial court hearing is scheduled for April 14, 2009.
